How we handle your information

Privacy Policy

How Junk Eaterz handles information collected through this website.

This policy explains how Junk Eaterz handles information collected through this website and its quote and contact forms. It covers information you submit, information processed when you use the site, our service providers, and how records are kept and deleted.

Last updated: October 18, 2026

Information you submit

The quote form collects your name, the contact methods you choose, the phone number and email address you provide, the services you need, the job address, any apartment or unit, your job description, whether there are stairs, your preferred timing, and your policy and estimate acknowledgments. You can attach up to five photos.

The contact form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, optional subject, message, and policy acknowledgment.

Older requests may contain answers from earlier versions of our forms, such as item details, load size, elevator information or other access notes.

You do not need a customer account to use these forms. They do not request payment card details, bank details, government identifiers or date of birth, and this website does not take payments. Please do not include that information in messages or photos.

How we use information

We use your information to review your request, prepare an initial estimate, arrange an assessment when needed, ask questions, contact you using your chosen methods, and manage any work you arrange with us.

We also process technical information to deliver the website, prevent spam, protect submissions, avoid duplicate requests and investigate delivery problems.

Submitting a form does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not use submissions to build a marketing list, sell or rent your information, or share it for anyone else’s marketing.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the submission and verification code, stores intake records and photos, and provides Turnstile spam protection. It processes submitted information and technical information needed to deliver and protect the service.

Resend sends submission notifications to our receiving mailbox. These emails contain the details you submit and, for quote requests, photo attachments. Resend also processes delivery information.

Google Maps Platform provides address suggestions and map features. When you use address suggestions, Google receives the text you type and information needed to return suggestions. You can enter an address without selecting a suggestion. Selected address components are included in your submission.

Map requests use the service street address, city, state and ZIP. We do not add the separate apartment/unit field, your name, contact details, job notes or photos to those requests. Information typed into the street field is still part of the address sent to Google. Opening a remote map image in an email also makes a request to Google, sometimes through the email provider’s image proxy. We do not use these map requests to measure email opens.

Google provides mail delivery for our business-domain receiving address. Notification emails and replies are separate copies of information held in the website’s intake system.

These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy policies. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

How long information is kept

Submitted quote requests and contact messages are set to expire from the website’s intake system after 24 months. An unfinished quote request is set to expire after 24 hours. Stored original photos and smaller copies follow their request’s expiration.

A scheduled cleanup runs daily and removes eligible records in batches. It deletes stored photo objects before removing the related request records. A record can remain beyond its expiration while a cleanup batch or a failed deletion is being retried.

Notification emails, attachments and replies are separate mailbox copies. The website’s cleanup does not delete them. They follow the receiving mailbox’s retention settings and any separate deletion we carry out.

Cloudflare’s current Workers Logs retention for our hosting plan is seven days. Deleted intake database records can remain recoverable through Cloudflare’s database recovery history for up to 30 days. These are separate from the active intake records and stored photo objects.

Cached geocoding results have a validity period of up to 29 days. Expiration of a map result does not delete the submitted address, an email containing it, or a delivered map link.

Resend, Google and Cloudflare also retain information under their applicable service settings and policies. We do not apply the intake system’s 24-month period to their separate records.

If we carry out a job, records needed for accounting, tax, insurance, disputes or ordinary business recordkeeping may be kept separately for as long as those purposes require.

Photos you send

We store uploaded originals in private photo storage. Original files are retained without removing their embedded metadata, so they may include camera details, dates or location information saved by your device. We do not separately extract that metadata to locate or profile you.

For larger photos, your browser creates a smaller JPEG copy for notification email. Smaller photos can be attached in their original form. Original and smaller stored copies remain associated with your request, and email attachments are separate copies in the receiving mailbox.

Deleting an intake record or allowing a photo link to expire does not by itself delete an attachment already delivered by email.

Sending a photo is not permission to use it in advertising. We will not use photos of your home, belongings or property in marketing without asking you separately and receiving your permission.

Technical information, browser storage and analytics

Cloudflare processes network and browser information to deliver this website and protect its forms. Our spam check sends your verification response and connecting IP address to Cloudflare. Turnstile also processes browser and network signals under Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy disclosure.

Our intake system records submission identifiers, timestamps, status, acknowledgments, verification outcomes, retry information and notification-delivery results. Application logs use technical event information with redaction. Hosting invocation logs are separate and can include request methods and URLs.

The public forms hold their current entries, selected photos and retry state in browser memory. They do not save a persistent form draft in local or session storage. The website’s offline feature caches its offline page and icons, rather than submitted form data or photos.

We use Cloudflare’s hosting metrics to understand request volumes and technical operation. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, heatmaps or a third-party chat widget on this public website.

Turnstile and Google Maps process information when their features are used, under their applicable policies. We do not use these features for advertising tracking.

If we add a nonessential analytics or advertising tool, we will update this policy first and address any required consent before using it.

Asking to correct or delete information

Email info@junkeaterz.com to ask us to correct or delete information. Include the name, email address or phone number used for the request and explain what needs changing or deleting. Please do not send identity documents unless we specifically discuss a need for them.

We handle these requests manually and may ask for information needed to find the records and confirm that the request is yours. We aim to act within 30 days.

When we act on a deletion request, we remove the matching quote or contact records, stored original photos and smaller copies, and related notification messages in the mailbox we control. We review any separate job or business records as part of the request and explain anything we must retain for accounting, tax or a live dispute.

Deletion from active records does not immediately remove information from provider backups, recovery history or logs. Those copies follow the provider’s retention and deletion processes. We can explain what we removed and any limits that remain.

Keeping information safe

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection. We validate form submissions on the server, verify the anti-spam response, and keep uploaded photos in private storage. We use submission and delivery records to investigate failures and protect the service.

No website or storage system can guarantee complete security.

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging work on a property. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If what we do changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. Material changes to how we handle submitted information will be described here rather than made quietly.
